"THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE, I WILL REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT!"

Hello everybody, so I did my first bacon in the oven.
Well I started it and the kids took it out, lol.(yes I'm taking credit for it, lol). I forgot my daughter and her best friend said that they were going to be vegetarians. She has attempted this before, after 2 days it was a wrap(yes, 2 days).  I will do everything I can to help her be successful. She said only seafood, she doesn't even want to eat chicken now (my eyes are rolling around in my head like dice). Instead of the bacon they had cheesy tuna pasta with broccoli and a side of fruit.

Trying something new can be great, it will teach you things about yourself that you never knew. your limits and boundaries are tested and you feel a sense of accomplishment. Fun is another reason to try something new. Life should be about doing God's will, living life and having fun. Enjoy your day and your time, you only get one life so why not make the best of it. This way you won't have any regrets.

JOHN 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

  1. I am happy you got to experience oven cook bacon with your daughter. Cooking it in the oven is the way I like to eat it. The bacon taste better as far as am concern.

  2. I have never heard of oven cooking bacon, but it sounds like it would be good and a healthier option for cooking bacon. I don't know that I could be a vegetarian, but lots of luck to her! I love chicken to much to be able to be successful.

  3. My mom has always done this as long as I can remember. I never realized it could possibly be a more healthy way to eat bacon! Needless to say I absolutely love bacon, and I couldn't imagine going vegetarian. Cheers to your daughter for making the effort to try out a new lifestyle!

  4. I totally agree with everyone, never giving up bacon...it's heaven in your mouth. It is healthier as long as you are cooking it on a pan that it can drain like in the picture, because the oil is falling down in the pan. I LOVE BACON...
